San Francisco City Hall Dome Balustrades
 |
| San Francisco City Hall’s pigeon problems on the dome were solved with the installation of discreetly fitted 2” square exclusion netting. Pest pigeons had been entering through the air vent openings at the base of the dome into the building’s rotunda creating unsightly droppings and safety issues on the highly polished marble floors. In addition, the pigeons were nesting behind the balustrade adjacent to the openings on the dome. Results of Birds Away/Pigeons Away work — no more pigeons per “Da Mayor” Willie Brown. |
